GISD Liberty Battalion Navy JROTC will be hosting a CyberPatriot Standard Camp on July 13 - 17, 2026, at the GISD Future Readiness Center (FRC) Computer Lab Classroom.

CyberPatriot was conceived by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation’s future.  The Standard CyberCamp requires no prior cybersecurity experience, while the Advanced CyberCamp builds upon the material covered in the Standard camp and includes activities and tasks from the CyberPatriot competition. You’ll engage in hands-on activities during the camp and learn from experienced professionals.

Please sign up for CyberCamp at the following link: https://forms.gle/epDHJxXwBH77PuKA7

In addition to CyberPatriot, we will also host StellarXplorer Camps on July 20 - 24, 2026,  at the GISD Future Readiness Center (FRC) Computer Lab Classroom.  AFA is a non-profit, independent, professional military and aerospace education association. Our mission is to promote the dominant U.S. Air and Space Forces as the foundation of a strong National Defense; to honor and support our Airmen, Guardians, and their Families; and to remember and respect our enduring Heritage. To accomplish this, we educate the public on the critical need for unrivaled aerospace power and promote aerospace and STEM education to create a technically superior and professional workforce, thereby ensuring national security.
